Does Template Mobilizer support other file formats?

Template Mobilizer currently supports .docx .docm .xlsx .xlsm.

There is no reason it could not support other file formats, e.g. XML, CSV etc.

Height of rows does not refit to input text

When a tag is added in a cell (Document table or Excel row), the cell height is based on the text with the tag, which can be longer than the final input text version.

In the template, select the cell height and change this to be “At Least” a low value, or remove the cell height constraint altogether.

This will avoid problems with the final version.

Unfortunately Pages does not have this option, so when saving a Pages document to .docx format, the “At Least” constraint is not set in the .docx. If you are using tables, it is recommended to use Word.

How to open a template from Dropbox

Open Dropbox and find the template you have created.

Open the template in dropbox.

Select the action button.

Select “Open in” in the bottom row, as shown in the example.

Then select Mobilizer.

How to open a template from email

Open the email.

Select the template sent, download and open on the device.

Select the action button, sometimes you need to give one tap to get the action button to appear.

Select “Open In”.

Select Mobilizer.

How to open a template from OneDrive

Open OneDrive and find the template you have created.

Long press on the template so it is selected with a tick like in the example. Ensure only one file is ticked.

Select the … in the bottom right hand corner. You will see the menu as shown in the example.

Select “Open in another app”.

Then select Mobilizer.

Template Mobilizer Crashes

We are sorry to hear this.

We currently have had no reports of Template Mobilizer crashing and we would like to hear if it has.

Template Mobilizer has been carefully constructed in order to avoid problems that would cause a crash. We also tested Template Mobilizer extensively.

We have found and fixed bugs that caused crashes, and would be very disappointed that we have released a version that can crash. So please do let us know so we can help you, Contact@TemplateMobilizer.com.

What is best way to create a template

There are many different ways to create a template for Template Mobilizer.

We feel the best way to start is to take your template in Word or Excel on a computer.

Work your way through the template, adding the tags you want in the template where needed. For help creating the best tag for the data needed, use the Tag Builder in Template Mobilizer.

Where can I get new templates

Template Mobilizer is shipped with a number of templates to get you started. These can be shared for modification or learning as needed.

More templates will be added to demonstrate other uses for Template Mobilizer, as well as the new features that are added.

Why does Excel not show correct sum?

Excel does not currently recalculate based on input from Template Mobilizer. This feature is being worked on.
